Police Control Microphone

The multi-zone Police Control microphone is a surface mounted unit with a topographical layout to allow intuitive use during an emergency. The unit includes a fist held, noise cancelling microphone, zone select buttons for paging and prerecorded message announcements are also provided on the panel. The Microphone unit is designed to meet the requirements of BS7827 and is typically used by the Police and Emergency Services to aid the evacuation of persons from a stadium or Arena during an emergency. To provide operational reassurance to the user, the microphone unit has a front panel that contains LED’s to indicate the following conditions: - Status, All Call Only, Speak Now and Busy. The microphone unit is fully monitored in line with the requirements of BS5839:8 and is connected to the main system using fire rated and mechanically protected cable.
